Description
Summary:This paper presents a new channel sounder specially designed for outdoor measurements. The principle of the sliding correlation technique is explained. The key parameters of our sounder are optimized for Doppler frequency capability. Outdoor measurements in and around the town of Rennes are then performed in order to check the performance of our measurement system using the 2.45 GHz ISM band which is close to future UMTS applications.
