Description
Summary:The development of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), combined with the prospect of air-space-ground vehicular network (ASGVN) brings a novel trend to the emergency communication system (ECS), in which the high maneuverability and characteristic of easy to deployed can be fully used in relative scenarios. In this paper, mesh flying ad-hoc network (MFANET) is proposed as a practical UAV swarm-based linking scheme used for ECS in post disaster areas. Characteristics and implementation details of MFANET are described. Experimental results of limited physical simulation based on Raspberry Pi boards about MFANET are presented to validate the proposed network.
