Summary: | An oversized air gap linear rotational switched reluctance motors (LSRMs) have been manufactured and developed for a test track of railway vehicles. These motors are proposed owing to their roughness, simple configuration, and their ability to operate in harsh environments. The stator is formed of a standard coupling of 3 six-pole SRM stators that are properly biased. The rotor is made of several common eight poles SRM stacks. The linear movement is already ensured by the motor. The purposes of the design and control are to exploit the effectiveness and to lessen auditory noise for the given motor parameters. For safe and effective application of electromagnetism lift as well as steering systems for motors which have an inherently unstable characteristic, an innovative system is meant to regulate both the air gap position and winding current using the PI regulator. Mechanical vibration is reduced, and driving quality is improved. The results of a large-scale dynamic modelling of an integrated system are displayed. |
