Description
Summary:This paper is devoted to the study of the issues of choise of envelope of differential binary phase shift keying signal. In this this study we examine three types of envelope: 1) formed by transient process on the output of resonant filter at the data transmission rate faster than the Nyquist rate; 2) formed by switching the initial phase of a single-tone amplitude-modulated oscillation; 3) formed by switching the initial phase of the beat signal. Comparative analysis revealed new features in the behavior of the signal spectra of the listed signals. Among which the most important is the following The spectrum for the differential binary phase shift keying signal formed by means of the transient process has a smaller number of spectral components with significant amplitude values when P 1 is equal P 0 , however, it has a more pronounced number of components in the signal spectrum, between the reference signals, when the information sequence consists of only ones.
