Summary:Our modern societies cannot function without transportation system. Individual freedom of movement, business, and the expansion of economies around the world are all directly impacted by the efficiency of transportation infrastructure. An intelligent transportation system, the internet of vehicles is a component of the overall system. Many technologies and algorithms have been developed to optimize traffic management. In this paper, the optimal route on a map is discovered using an ant colony algorithm. The suggested route selection mechanism based on IOV was found to function well in tests. Segmented maps are used instead of the complete map to identify important routes. This paper was used to make the roads safer, the transportation system more efficient, and the environment better in our system.
