Lemierre's syndrome in adolescent children : anaerobic sepsis with internal jugular vein thrombophlebitis following pharyngitis
Two cases of anaerobic sepsis and internal jugular vein thrombophlebitis secondary to oropharyngeal infection, both of whom had delayed diagnosis due to unfamiliarity with the disease by primary and tertiary caretakers, are presented.
