Description
Summary:Abstract Several acaricides were tested for efficacy against citrus red mite (CRM). Each treatment was replicated 3 times in single-tree plots. Trees were assigned to a replicate on the basis of their prespray CRM infestation level. Trees were sprayed on April 21 with a Hardy orchard spray gun (No. 8 orifice at 500 psi using ca. 12.5 gal/tree or 1350 gpa). On each count date, the CRM adult females were counted on 32 leaves/tree (8 four-leaf terminals, 2/quadrant).
