This paper first analyzed the development situation of science and technology innovation in Guangdong seed industry, such as seed market, breeding technique, breeding talent. Then, it pointed out the existing problems of science and technology innovation in Guangdong seed industry, offered the development countermeasures of seed industry in Guangdong. In order to improve the development situation of science and technology innovation in Guangdong seed industry, we should further establish long-term stable mechanism of agricultural technological investment, learn foreign advanced breeding technology, strengthen seed technology innovation, improve policy environment of integration ofbreeding, cross produetion and popularization, improve evaluation system of seed scientific research achievement, and ensure seed long-term stable investment.
