Summary: | A hyperbolic metasurface (HMS) based on anisotropic black phosphorus (BP) is proposed to study the near-field radiative heat transfer (NFRHT). The heat transfer between the BP-based HMSs is determined by both extremely confined hyperbolic surface plasmons (HSPs) and BP plasmon which are simultaneously supported by the proposed HMS structures. For the HMS with wider ribbons, BP plasmon plays more important role to the heat transfer at low electron doping, while HSPs dominates to the heat transfer at high electron doping. For HMS with narrower ribbons, the contribution from BP plasmon to heat transfer is weakened, while HSPs play more and more important role to the near-filed heat transfer. In this situation, heat transfer between HMSs can be enhanced significantly compared with that between BP sheets. We also found that heat transfer between HMSs with wider ribbons is more sensitive to temperature. Our results are very meaningful in the studies of the NFRHT between two-dimensional metasurfaces.
