Summary:The result of this pilot study confirmed that the US-directed transcervical tubal catheterization procedure for assisted reproduction can be learned over a short period of time and may well produce comparable PRs as seen with laparoscopic transfer. However, practice in the technique with confirmation of placement by laparoscopy is advised before incorporating this procedure into a program of assisted reproduction.
