Description
Summary:The determination of sulphide present in tannery waste water by two different methods namely, iodimetry and ion selective electrode (ISE) has been critically analysed. The results obtained from iodimetry are fairly accurate, while there is a considerable deviation in the values obtained by ISE. The accuracy of the values obtained from the latter method depends on the different effluent streams from which the samples were collected.
