Procedure for determination of the speed of sound in liquids

Experimental values of the speed of sound in nitrogen tetroxide and hydrogen peroxide are obtained using a procedure that eliminates direct contact with the aggressive liquids. The relationship between the speed of sound and the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution is revealed.
