Description
Summary:The study was approved by the Institutional Review Board at the University of Massachusetts. Comparison between groups included geography, patient population (adult/pediatric), and program structure (ultrasound division, fellowship, program) factors. In the final multivariable analysis, we included institution specialty, position in ultrasound program, and region of hospital in a logistic regression model. Among physicians with one role, there was no significant difference in the amount of protected time for division/program/fellowship director.
