Extralobar bronchopulmonary sequestration supplied by right-sided aortic arch aberrant subclavian artery

Right aortic arch (RAA) with an aberrant left subclavian artery (LSA) is a very rare anatomical variant of the aorta, which is rarely symptomatic. However, symptoms may vary depending on the relationship of the aberrant subclavian artery to the surrounding structures. In this report, we present a ca...

Description
Summary:Right aortic arch (RAA) with an aberrant left subclavian artery (LSA) is a very rare anatomical variant of the aorta, which is rarely symptomatic. However, symptoms may vary depending on the relationship of the aberrant subclavian artery to the surrounding structures. In this report, we present a case of an 8-year-old girl who was identified with Edward’s type II RAA with LSA after developing a list of symptoms that led to the diagnosis of pulmonary sequestration, which in turn led to the discovery of her congenital aortic abnormality.
