Description
Summary:This article presents the software tool ERIS (ETRI Reliability Information System) to provide design engineers with a computerized reliability design and evaluation tool. We overview the reliability design activities for telecommunication systems and present the structure and features of ERIS. ERIS makes it possible to predict system reliability exactly and faster than ever, and to share component reliability information with design engineers. ERIS has a client-server architecture and a graphical user interface to provide design engineers with a quick and convenient computational environment.
