Summary:Surgical treatment of complex anal fistula is challenging, especially when seeking the preservation of the anal sphincters and, subsequently, fecal continence. For this reason, in recent years, a variety of "minimally invasive" techniques have appeared. One of the more popular ones is the use of expanded adipose-derived stem cell (ASCs) injections, which we will demonstrate in the video.
