Summary:GaSb-based thermophotovoltaic converters for a selective mantle-type Y 2 O 3 emitter coated with rare-earth oxides Er 2 O 3 /Yb 2 O 3 are investigated. Matching of the converter spectral response with the peak emitter-radiation wavelength λ = 1540 nm provides a thermophotovoltaic conversion efficiency of more than 26% (0.4 W).
