A continuum theory-based approach to the modeling of dynamic wireless sensor networks

In this letter we develop an analytical model that provides a realistic description of the dynamics of an evolving self-organizing sensor network and facilitates the understanding of the effects of the various events on large-scale topologies. Based on this, the connectivity distribution of the sens...

Description
Summary:In this letter we develop an analytical model that provides a realistic description of the dynamics of an evolving self-organizing sensor network and facilitates the understanding of the effects of the various events on large-scale topologies. Based on this, the connectivity distribution of the sensor network, under various scenarios regarding the network organization and the way that links are added, "rewired" or removed, is analyzed.
