powders was achieved in a few minutes. The structure and morphology of the as-prepared nanocrystalline powders of NiFe
2
O
4
and CoFe
2
O
4
were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and tunneling electron microscopy (TEM). The XRD spectra confirmed the formation of spinel structure with a crystallite size of 30.03 nm for NiFe
2
O
4
and 36.7 nm for CoFe
2
O
4
nanopowders, and TEM results indicated spherical shape of the products. Magnetic measurements revealed that at room temperature while NiFe
2
O
4
is superparamagnetic, CoFe
2
O
4
shows ferromagnetic behavior. |
