Description
Summary:We report a case of a cystic lymphangioma arising from the lesser curvature of the stomach in a 16-year-old female who initially presented with abdominal pain, nausea, and emesis. Contrast enhanced computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a large, thin-walled multicystic mass located anteromedial to the stomach, which was predominately supplied by the left gastric artery. Given the imaging appearance and location, a mesenteric cyst, specifically a cystic lymphangioma, was considered. Lymphangioma was the final pathological diagnosis after laparotomy with complete resection of the cystic abdominal mass.
