Diamino Monosaccharide Ligands in Group 6 Carbonyl Complexes

The reaction of methyl‐2,3‐diamino‐4,6‐O‐benzylidene‐2,3‐dideoxy‐α‐D‐glucopyranoside with the hexacarbonyl complexes of chromium, molybdenum and tungsten results in three new chiral tetracarbonyl complexes containing a diamino monosaccharide ligand. They are characterized by means of 1H, 13C NMR and...

Description
Summary:The reaction of methyl‐2,3‐diamino‐4,6‐O‐benzylidene‐2,3‐dideoxy‐α‐D‐glucopyranoside with the hexacarbonyl complexes of chromium, molybdenum and tungsten results in three new chiral tetracarbonyl complexes containing a diamino monosaccharide ligand. They are characterized by means of 1H, 13C NMR and infrared spectroscopy as well as single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis.
