Description
Summary:Time domain reflectometry is applied to obtain dielectric relaxation spectra of polymer solutions covering a wide frequency range from 100 kHz to several GHz. The measuring system of the difference method is precisely described, including cell design, data acquisition system and calculation to obtain the complex permittivity. The performance of the system is demonstrated by measurements of several polymer solutions in both polar and nonpolar solvents.
