Description
Summary:Vinogradova et al studied the effectiveness of using the 3' untranslated region of the beet necrotic yellow vein virus and beet yellows virus genomic RNA for the induction of RNA silencing. To analyze the suppression of the expression level of viral genome fragments, they developed a procedure for transient and stable expression in plants of the reporter gene GFP, which was fused to BYV or BNYVV specific sequence, and viral double stranded RNAs that potentially induce silencing.
