Description
Summary:A fluorometer model designed at the Institute of Automatics and Control Processes and intended for measuring phytoplankton photosynthesis parameters and chlorophyll- a concentration in sea water in vivo in a wide range of depths, is described. The feature of the fluorometer is the use of fiber-optic sensors for measuring fluorescence, temperatures, and depths. The structure and design of the fluorometer is described. The measurement results of photosynthesis parameters, obtained in a series of expeditions in the Sea of Japan in autumn 2012, are discussed.
