Description
Summary:A case of composite lymphoma in a young female is described. The patient was found to have lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin's disease at presentation, but subsequent staging laparotomy revealed coexistent but distinct Hodgkin's disease and diffuse large cell lymphoma in the spleen. Possible explanations for this rare occurrence are discussed, and the literature is reviewed.
