Description
Summary:A study determined and compared the distribution patterns and contents of lanthanides in fluid inclusions, quartz, and greenschists with an aim to elucidate the source of fluids and distinguish indicators that can be used to discriminate between auriferous and barren quartz veins at the Sovetskoe quartzgold deposit. The available information on the age of formation of quartz veins coupled with the data on REE distribution in fluids demonstrate that the gold-bearing and gold-free quartz veins of the Sovetskoe deposit were formed by different fluids and in different times.
