Description
Summary:Preliminary results on the Raman spectra of organic materials obtained using a newly assembled UV-laser-excited Raman-microprobe system are reported. Fluorescence-free spectra are obtained for the materials, which show tremendous fluorescence when excited by visible laser light. Signal enhancement due to a preresonant effect is also observed.
