Description
Summary:The studies reported here confirmed the value of ultrasound tests in the differential diagnosis of various hearing disorders: otosclerosis, adhesive otitis media, Ménière's disease, and chronic purulent otitis media, as well as sensorineural deafness of various etiologies. A new compact and inexpensive device based on state-of-the-art components was developed to provide maximal convenience in carrying out the differential diagnosis of different forms of deafness using the phenomenon of ultrasound perception.
