Summary:•Bound state solution of Dirac-attractive potential within Yukawa interaction investigated.•Numerical result of our work is performed.•We have showed the effects of tensor interaction for pseudospin and spin symmetry limits.•The effect of degeneracies removing role are also discussed. We present the solution of Dirac equation with an attractive potential in the presence of a Yukawa-like tensor interaction. The bound-state energy spectra and the radial wave functions are approximately obtained in the case of spin and pseudospin symmetries. We have also reported some numerical results and figures to show the effect of tensor interaction.
