Description
Summary:[Display omitted] •Almost 3800 new rotational transitions of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline were measured.•Rotational transitions with the quantum numbers J up to 159 were assigned.•The rotational constants were determined with great accuracy. In the present study, the millimeter and submillimeter high-resolution rotational spectra of the most stable conformer of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline were recorded up to 500 GHz. Almost 3800 new ground state a-type R-branch, b-type R-branch and c-type R-branch rotational transitions were assigned and analyzed in detail. Based on the analysis of the transition frequencies, the rotational and quartic centrifugal distortion constants were obtained with significantly higher accuracy and the sextic centrifugal distortion constants were determined for the first time.
