Summary: | In order to extend the basic research on the stability of low-temperature superconductor (LTS) and high-temperature superconductor (HTS) hybrid superconductor and to explore its potential application, an LTS/HTS hybrid coil made of NbTi/Cu tape and YBCO/Ag tape was wound and investigated experimentally in this paper. Critical currents and minimum quench energies of the LTS/HTS hybrid superconducting coil and an LTS superconducting coil were measured. |
