The effect of tungsten inclusion into nickel-phosphorus films on their thermal and barrier properties

It is known that films of electroless alloys Ni-W-P have been obtained by introduction of sodium tungstate into citrate-hypophosphite solution for electroless deposition Ni-P alloys. Ni-W-P alloys can contain 4-21 at.% P and 1-8 at.% W depending on the solution composition (Na sub 2 WO sub 4 , nicke...

Description
Summary:It is known that films of electroless alloys Ni-W-P have been obtained by introduction of sodium tungstate into citrate-hypophosphite solution for electroless deposition Ni-P alloys. Ni-W-P alloys can contain 4-21 at.% P and 1-8 at.% W depending on the solution composition (Na sub 2 WO sub 4 , nickel salt, sodium citrate concentration, and NH sub 4 exp + ion presence) and pH. This article is concerned with a discussion of the effect of tungsten inclusion into Ni-P films on their thermal and barrier properties.
