Description
Summary:Equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) is an effective process to produce materials with enhanced mechanical properties, during the last decade to meet the industrial needs; it has emerged as a widely-known technique for the fabrication of ultrafine-grained metals and alloys. In this work, Analysis report of ECAP process on different grades of Aluminium, Magnesium and Titanium alloys are presented. ABAQUS software has been used for the analysis and load calculations. The main work is to find out the Force and pressing pressure required for ECAP. Furthermore the grain refinement of Al 6063 alloy and its hardness measurement are also added in this paper. The influences of ECAP parameters are also explained. The result shows that Titanium alloy requires maximum force and pressing pressure as compared to aluminium alloy.
