Summary:Unpiloted aerial vehicles (drones) represent knowledge-intensive high technology and are very promising, so that it is a high priority to optimize their production [1]. The elimination of losses in drone production by means of lean manufacturing tools is considered in the present work: the stages in the identification, analysis, and solution of problems are discussed; an algorithm for the elimination of production losses is presented; an algorithm for developing a value stream map for manufacturing today is proposed; and lean production tools for elimination of the main losses are outlined.
