Summary: | This letter reports enhanced performance of quantum dots sensitized solar cells by selectively deposition an insulating SiO2 layer over the quantum dots (QDs) sensitized mesoporous TiO2 photoanode. The incident photon to current conversion efficiency of the CdS/CdSe QDs cosensitized solar cell with SiO2 coating can reach 83%. A power conversion efficiency of 2.05% was obtained. |
