Description
Summary:An attempt was made to alter the behavior of a group of 60 male underachieving students from Grade 7 and 8 classes by giving them training in either n Achievement, moderate risk taking, or both. At the end of the four month remedial program no significant improvement was found in grade point average or in independent measures of the two training variables. The conclusion was reached that training in n Achievement and risk taking is not generalizable to the academic situation.
