CMV Elimination in DiGeorge Syndrome Following Matched Related Stem Cell Transplant

CMV infection in complete DiGeorge Syndrome (DGS) patients has been associated with mortality prior and post thymus transplantation. Due to unavailability of thymus transplant, at 4 months of age, he received unmanipulated BMT from his HLA-identical brother without pre-transplant conditioning.
