Summary:Expansion of measles cases is an alarm signal in Romania, with most of the European Union in our country. There is a clear need for higher rates of vaccination of the population. Romania ranks first in Europe in terms of measles deaths as well as cases of measles exported to other EU countries. Neighboring countries such as Bulgaria and Hungary succeed to have a much better management of measles.
