Description
Summary:The reaction of magnesium with hot metal may be activated by expanding the mass-transfer surface within the bath. To this end, a more uniform injection flux is organized by dividing the flux into identical components, eliminating pulsations, using granular magnesium without depleting additives, and injecting the magnesium at a rate of 25 kg/min through a two-nozzle lance.
