Summary:	This article describes a research program for modeling, estimation and forecasting of the state of the information space that exists in a separate subject domain that is formed by a leading scientific journal. Cognitive linguistics is considered as the subject domain and publications of the Russian scientific journal Problems of Cognitive Linguistics , which is entirely dedicated to the development of lingua-cognitive problematics, provided the data for study.
