Description
Summary:A new NLO crystal of L-Arginine doped with potassium iodide were harvested from solution growth technique with slow evaporation method. Powder X-ray diffraction analysis exposes the structure. Presence of vibration functional groups in the grown crystal was confirmed by FTIR spectroscopy. Using the spectrum of UV–Vis-NIR the optical transmission and absorption spectra were studied. TGA-DSC studies reveal the decomposition and thermal stabilities of the grown crystals. Kurtz Perry Powder technique determines the second harmonic generation NLO behavior.
