PLATELET/SURFACE INTERACTIONS AN IN VITRO METHOD FOR SCREENING NEW NONTHROMBOGENIC SURFACES
The development of nonthrombogenic artificial surfaces for extracorporeal circulation (ECC) is ongoing. In line with this development, a reliable in vivo screening method is essential. A model utilizing test tubes incubated with super(111)In labeled platelets demonstrates such a method.
