Molecular cloning and expression of a gene encoding a germin-like protein in common bean ( Phaseolus vulgaris L)

This chapter reports the molecular cloning of the first germin-like protein cDNA from common bean ( cv. Fin de Bagnols), the tissue-specific expression of the corresponding gene and the characterization of its 5' flanking region.
