Abstract | The current psycholinguistic research focuses on the analysis of linguistic facts in support of the hypothesis that people tend to believe that they think rationally, and this tendency has its linguistic expression in lexical linguistic objects that they use for communicative purposes. In order to emphasize on the rational in their way of thinking when communicating with others, native speakers rely on lexical units, representing heterogeneous in composition (from a morphosyntactic perspective) constructions that are associated with semantic wholes. The hypothesis also has its continuation: taking as a starting point, the lexeme thought in Bulgarian, to look for examples (lexical representations and contextual meanings) in the German language, which are in favor of the assumption that in the German language predominate lexemes whose semantic features form the profile of the rationality characteristic - at the expense of the smaller number of representations of lexical units, through the semantic features of which in the linguistic plan to present the expressiveness characteristic. The work is based on the thesis of psychologists Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky about the two systems that guide our thinking: system 1, which is fast, intuitive and emotional, and system 2, which is slow, conscious and logical. The research is cognitively oriented - the semantic parameters are considered dominant, while at the same time it is based on the lexical-semantic level in the study of vocabulary (at this level the individual meanings are considered independently as lexical-semantic variants of the word). |
