Abstract | ABSTRACT Objective: To analyze work absences due to mood disorders between 2018 and 2020 in Piauí. Method: Census study, descriptive-analytical, carried out in Piauí, Brazil, between May and July 2021. Data was collected from the National Social Security Institute’s database. Analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: 1,717 leaves were identified, 65.3% were female workers with an average age of 39.78 years, 91% had an income of one to two minimum wages, 42.7% came from other municipalities, and 82.2% worked in the urban area. Among the absences, 52% were due to depressive episodes, and 84.2% of the workers were granted social security sickness benefits. There was a statistical association between the municipality of origin, the zone of labor activities, and the average duration of work leave. Conclusion: The study contributed to the identification of absences and the provision of data that collaborate in the formulation of intervention strategies and the worker’s best working conditions and mental health.
RESUMO Objetivo: analisar os afastamentos laborais por transtornos de humor entre 2018 e 2020 no Piauí. Método: estudo censitário, descritivo-analítico, realizado no Piauí, Brasil, entre maio e julho de 2021. Dados coletados no banco de dados do Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social. Analisados com estatística descritiva e inferencial. Resultados: foram identificados 1.717 afastamentos, 65,3% trabalhadoras do sexo feminino, média de idade de 39,78 anos, 91% apresentavam renda de um a dois salários-mínimos, 42,7% procedentes de outros municípios, 82,2% atuavam na zona urbana. Entre os afastamentos, 52% ocorreram por episódios depressivos, o auxílio-doença previdenciário foi concedido a 84,2% dos trabalhadores. Houve associação estatística entre o município de procedência e a zona das atividades laborais e o tempo médio de duração do afastamento laboral. Conclusão: o estudo contribuiu na identificação dos afastamentos e no fornecimento de dados que colaboram na formulação de estratégias de intervenção e as melhores condições de trabalho e saúde mental do trabalhador.

Método: estudio censal, descriptivo-analítico, realizado en Piauí, Brasil, entre mayo y julio de 2021. Datos recolectados en la base de datos del Instituto Nacional del Seguro Social. Analizados con estadística descriptiva e inferencial. Resultados: se identificaron 1.717 licencias, 65,3% trabajadoras del sexo femenino, promedio de edad de 39,78 años, 91% presentaban ingresos de uno a dos salarios mínimos, 42,7% procedentes de otros municipios, 82,2% trabajaban en la zona urbana. Entre las licencias, el 52% ocurrieron por episodios depresivos, el subsidio por enfermedad se concedió al 84,2% de los trabajadores. Hubo asociación estadística entre el municipio de procedencia y la zona de las actividades laborales y el tiempo promedio de duración de la licencia laboral. Conclusión: el estudio contribuyó en la identificación de las licencias y en el suministro de datos que colaboran en la formulación de estrategias de intervención y las mejores condiciones de trabajo y salud mental del trabajador. |
