After some months of normalised IOP there was a return to emmetropia. [...]emmetropisation must be robust enough to withstand the effects of IOP and ocular enlargement on the various parameters that determine refraction, and furthermore appropriately influence them to achieve emmetropia (or at least result in an eye that is not nearly so myopic as its abnormal axial elongation would suggest).
