Abstract Vapor pressures and saturated liquid densities for four low-boiling fractions from a fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) process have been measured in a range of temperatures from the normal boiling point up to 593 K using an apparatus with a constant-volume PVT cell. The new experimental data add to the existing information on thermophysical properties of petroleum products at saturation conditions. Equations for the prediction of vapor pressures at saturation and liquid saturated densities both for straight-run and deep-refining petroleum products are reported.
