Description
Summary:Reports data and statistical analyses that contribute to an understanding of how chief student personnel officers view counseling center services. Their responses are contrasted and compared with data from counseling center directors. For example, supervisors were more likely to select the area of vocational/career counseling for increased emphasis, and directors were more likely to select individual personal counseling for decreased emphasis. It is suggested that directors may need to ensure that their supervisor understands emerging trends in counseling and that accountability data are collected and appropriately published. (5 ref)
