Summary:Introduction: The dissemination of Covid-19 brought several changes in daily life, which resulted in changes in eating habits and lifestyle, as well as psychological and emotional disorders. Objective: The study aimed to evaluate eating habits and lifestyle due to restrictions imposed by the pandemic. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive research, with a quantitative approach and cross-section, which was carried out with 316 individuals, aged between 18 and 59 years, both genders, all residents of the city of Montes Claros--MG. Data collection was through a sociodemographic questionnaire; to assess alcohol and tobacco consumption was used the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test--AUDIT ; in the assessment of physical activity practice the International Physical Activity Questionnaire--IPAQ Short Version; and also a food consumption questionnaire by the Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile--HPLP-II questionnaire. Results and Discussion: It was observed eating and lifestyle changes, such as weight gain being assessed by the Body Mass Index (BMI) with a statistically significant difference between before and after the pandemic, decreased physical activity practice, increased consumption of alcohol more punctually in men and increased food consumption in women. Conclusion: As a result of the covid-19 pandemic were found several changes in food consumption and lifestyle due to restrictive measures caused by social isolation, being those harmful to health. Introducao: A disseminacao da Covid-19 trouxeram diversas alteracoes no cotidiano, o que acarretou mudancas nos habitos alimentares e estilo de vida, bem como desordens psicologicas e emocionais. Objetivo: O estudo objetivou avaliar os habitos alimentares e estilo de vida devido as restricoes impostas pela pandemia. Materiais e Metodos: Trata de uma pesquisa de carater descritiva, com abordagem quantitativa e corte transversal que foi realizado com 316 individuos, na faixa etaria de 18 a 59 anos, ambos os sexos, todos residentes da cidade de Montes Claros-MG. A coleta de dados foi atraves de um questionario sociodemografico; para avaliacao de consumo de alcool e tabaco foi utilizado o Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test--AUDIT; na avaliacao de pratica de atividade fisica o Questionario Internacional de Atividade Fisica--IPAQ Versao Curta; e questionario de consumo alimentar pelo questionario Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile--HPLP-II. Resultados e Discussao: Foi verificado alteracoes alimentares e no estilo de vida como, aumento de peso sendo avaliado pelo Indice de Massa Corporea (IMC) com diferenca estatisticamente significativa entre antes e apos a pandemia, diminuicao da pratica de atividade fisica, elevacao do consumo de alcool de forma mais pontual nos homens e aumento do consumo alimentar nas mulheres. Conclusao: Em decorrencia da pandemia de covid-19 foram constatadas diversas alteracoes no consumo alimentar e estilo de vida devido as medidas restritivas ocasionados pelo isolamento social, sendo estas prejudiciais a saude.
