Summary:This paper presents the progress of a PhD research on teacher training in ICT. It focuses on the Escuelas de Innovación initiative, a program of teacher training in the educational use of ICT depends on the Argentine Conectar Igualdad program, Administración Nacional de la Seguridad Social (ANSES). This has two distinguishing aspects that go beyond mere instrumental training. First formation arises taking the school as a subject of learning. Secondly it raises a formation located in the place which trained teachers will then act as replicators to their peers. In these pages you will find the characterization of this type of training, the first provisional results to understand its development and a first step of assessing allow conclusions from a pedagogical sense this initiative. Research is being carried out in a specific geographical area: La Matanza in Buenos Aires. The methodological approach is qualitative using techniques of ethnography and seeks to understand how to live the different actors involved throughout the process.
